Texts, papers, and records.
Adaptor House keeps works clear by type: Jing editions, papers of record, response series, scenes, standards, and reference tools.
Daodejing and their order of reading.
The 道德經 [Dào Dé Jīng] is two works bound as one: the 道經 [Dào Jīng], the Way, received as chapters 1–37, and the 德經 [Dé Jīng], Virtue, received as chapters 38–81. The received text puts the Way first. The silk manuscripts recovered at Mawangdui put Virtue first. Which comes first changes what the reader carries into the other half, so Adaptor House publishes both orders rather than choosing one silently.
Every chapter carries two numbers: its place in the edition you are reading, and its received chapter number as a witness. Chapter 1 of the De-first edition is received chapter 38, and the page says so. Enter by either order, read either constituent work on its own, or follow the English reading line by line beside the Chinese.

The Trope Mapping Schema, and the papers that answer it.
The Trope Mapping Schema is a set of thirteen papers of record. Five lay the foundation and method: the derivability of a five-valued validity grading over three-bit addresses, the assignment of four suits to eight addresses, a gloss on the grading’s naming collisions, the formal status of absence (the marked and the unmarked, yin and yang), and the Coinage Theorem, which treats names as evaluations. Eight Progenitor papers follow, one for each address from 000 to 111, and each derives its trope, coins its name, and tests it against the corpus.
All thirteen are published in the challenge register. Every claim states the conditions under which it would be refuted, and later papers cite earlier ones as law. Adaptor House is the author of record and the address for refutation. Drafts, positions, and companion commentary are held at Historical Present, not argued there. The Trope Papers will be the response series: arguments made back to the schema, shelved separately so the two are never confused.
