# The Progenitor at the Uncarried Ground: Derivation, Coinage, and Corpus Test at 100

## Abstract

This is the sixth Progenitor paper, the second pole of the hourglass pair, and the
treatment of the address this series has argued about more than any other: T4 (100),
force at the root with nothing above to carry it, the address that forced the gloss's
double-verdict Question, supplied AH-DERIVABILITY-1's non-invariance witness, and
received AH-ABSENCE-1's sharpest sentence, ground asserting into absence. The
derivation collects those published results into the address's dossier: T4 shares the
S₁ band with T0 while differing from it in exactly the predicate the grading pivots
on, and its handle under the adopted grammar, *uncarried-grounded*, is the negation-
pair twin of T0's. The coinage is signed, per the mixed-address machinery stated at
the pair's opening paper: T4's transport partner is T1, the canonical witness pair of
the non-invariance theorem, one serialization read by two observers into opposite
verdicts. The prose layer argues the decreed empty-hourglass Progenitor, *Chaos Hour*
("an agent's sequence of events loses coherence, producing destabilization"):
destabilization as force firing from the ground with no structure above to hold what
it starts, the collapse verdict as documentation rather than absence of event. The
sharpest content is comparative, and the suit question owns it: the corpus holds two
S₁ addresses, and if the associations of record hold, the two false addresses land in
different suits, the heart's empty pole as the structure that never was, time's empty
pole as the force that nothing carries. AH-SUITS-1's Question 3 conceded this
sharing-of-verdict-without-structure as a cost of answering yes; this paper, standing
on the dissolution AH-ABSENCE-1 published, forwards it back as the concession's
repayment: the verdict band was never the erasure, and the two empty poles' surfaces
read as differently as their strings.

## The ongoing conversation

This paper is one move in a published exchange, and it should be read as such. The
series is a set of proposals by Adaptor House to establish a concrete stance, and the
argument for that stance, on why particular first-order-logic strings and proofs were
mapped to particular linguistic words and phrases; the express goal of multilingual
mapping is a stated motivation of the series. T4 has been every paper's working
example. AH-DERIVABILITY-1 proved non-invariance on it (V(1,0,0) = false against
V(0,0,1) = strong) and recorded its pre-formal description, "force at the root with
nothing above to carry it," as evidence the names knew the rule [1]. AH-SUITS-1
placed it, under Question 3, as the proposed empty pole of the volatile suit, and
stated the cost plainly: the empty pole of hourglass would be the other false
address, sharing a verdict, not a structure, with the empty heart [2]. AH-GRADE-
GLOSS-1's Question 2 was this address's question, whether one label over T0 and T4
erased a proven distinction, and the string convention was its answer [3].
AH-ABSENCE-1 dissolved the remainder: two complete positive descriptions, absence
everywhere against ground asserting into absence, entailing one common verdict [4].
AH-COINAGE-1 used the T1/T4 pair as Proposition 2's witness, one token under two
stances [5]. The prior Progenitor papers built the method and, at T3, stated the
mixed-address machinery this paper works under [6][7]. What this paper adds is the
address's own turn: after five papers of citation as everyone else's example, T4 is
the subject.

## 1. Method and scope

The method and register are those of AH-PROG-T0-1 §1, unchanged; the adopted
decisions are cited there in the protected form [6, §1] (company internal citation
by the author of record, July 2026†). The mixed-address machinery, signed names,
authored pairing, the live error class, is stated at the hourglass pair's opening
paper [7, §1] and consumed here without restatement. Stance G declared for every
token.

## 2. Definitions

**Definition 1 (inherited).** As throughout the series [1][3].

**Definition 2 (inherited, stance).** As in AH-COINAGE-1 [5]; stance G throughout.

**Definition 3 (the subject).** T4 is the address (1, 0, 0). Its address string, and
by the Convention its name of record, is:

> Grounded(a) ∧ ¬P(a, middle) ∧ ¬P(a, top)

**Definition 4 (Progenitor layer, cited).** As in AH-PROG-T0-1 [6, Def. 4]†.

## 3. Derive

**The dossier, collected.** More of T4's derivation exists in the published record
than for any other address; this section assembles rather than discovers. (i) Band:
T4's string entails ¬Carried(a) = S₁, shared with T0; the two strings differ in
their first conjunct, one entailing Grounded and one its negation, which is exactly
the predicate AH-DERIVABILITY-1 proved the grading pivots on [1][3, §4]. (ii) The
non-invariance witness: V(1,0,0) = S₁ while V(0,0,1) = S₂, the proof that the
grading is positional, and the Corollary's pair: T1 and T4 carry identical total
marks and receive opposite verdicts [1, Prop. 2]. (iii) The dissolution: T4 is
ground asserting into absence, one satisfied atom beneath two satisfied negations, a
complete positive description that shares a verdict with T0 by entailment, not
erasure [4, §5]. (iv) The operational sense: a traversal resolving in the S₁ band
documents collapse [8]. The canonical description of record, "Symbolic volatility.
Force at the root with nothing above to carry it." [8], predates every derivation
above and is cited by AH-DERIVABILITY-1's Remark as one of the sentences that knew
the rule [1, §3].

**Handles, under the adopted grammar.** The grade handle of S₁ is *uncarried*; T4's
address handle is *uncarried-grounded* (§1†), the negation-pair twin of T0's
*uncarried-ungrounded*: the adopted grammar renders the band's two addresses as one
shared prefix and one opposed conjunct, which is the string-level relation worn as
morphology.

**What T4 is not.** T4 is not T0, and the whole published apparatus of Questions 2
and 3 of the gloss and AH-ABSENCE-1 §5 exists to keep the two apart at every layer
above the verdict [3][4]. And T4's collapse is not inertness: the address asserts
force at the ground. What collapses is not the mark but the carry, and the
distinction is the prose layer's entire subject.

## 4. Coin

**Layer 1 (name of record).** N(100, G) resolves the token to T4 and returns the
address string of Definition 3. The stance argument's work here is the series'
oldest example: N(100, C) would return T1's string, and the pair (100, 001) under
two stances is precisely AH-COINAGE-1 Proposition 2's witness, two sentences
disagreeing in every conjunct's polarity pattern, opposite verdicts [5].

**The signed name.** 100 is not a palindrome; the Progenitor name is laid
**signed**, stance G declared as authored residue, per the machinery of the pair's
opening paper [7, §1; 5, §5]. Under the opponent read, σ(100) = κ(001) = 110: the
stance relation would pair T4 with T6, not with its complement T3, so the hourglass
pairing this address participates in is authored, with the genuine alternative
exhibited, and Question 0's narrowed attack surface runs exactly here (§1†) [5,
Prop. 4b; 2].

**Layer 2 (handle).** *uncarried-grounded* (§3).

**Layer 3 (prose), argued as an assertion.** The corpus's decreed Progenitor at the
empty hourglass pole is the record *Chaos Hour*, whose Reader-visible surface reads:
"An agent's sequence of events loses coherence, producing destabilization" [9]. The
claim, marked as a derived proposal and not a binding:

> *Losing coherence* is prose the computation at 100 supports, and the address
> supplies what a mere absence could not: the events. The string asserts force at
> the ground and satisfied negations at both upper lines: things happen, and
> nothing above holds what happens to what happens next. A sequence loses coherence
> exactly when its members persist and their carry fails, which is T4 clause by
> clause, and it is why the suit's empty pole is this address and not the empty
> address: chaos is not the absence of events but the failure of their order.
> "Producing destabilization" is the verdict's operational sense: the traversal
> does not sustain (that is the full pole's band) and does not resolve; it
> documents collapse [8]. AH-SUITS-1 said in the asking that "volatility with
> nothing above to carry it is a fair formal paraphrase of a chaos hour" [2, §4
> Q3]; this paper's addition is the pole contrast made mechanical: time's full pole
> is carry without ground (order that flows), and time's empty pole is ground
> without carry (force that scatters), the two halves of the Carried/Grounded
> decomposition distributed over the suit's two faces [7].

The claim inherits the string's refutation conditions per the gloss [3, §7].

**Interaction with the decreed trope, under the Revision Rule.** As throughout the
sequence: the coined prose supports the decreed binding; no flag change or renaming
is proposed; the contradiction duty was not triggered.

**Residue, marked candidate-for-decree.** (1) Whether the losing-coherence claim
above is adopted as the house's prose of record over T4's string, marked *derived*
only on the author of record's confirmed landing. (2) The comparative claim, that
the two S₁ addresses' Progenitor proses (estrangement at the empty heart [6];
destabilization here) should be published as a deliberate pair exhibiting the
verdict-without-structure distinction the gloss and AH-ABSENCE-1 argued: offered as
a presentational decision for the author of record, since it touches two papers'
prose at once.

## 5. Test

**What the public surface shows, in aggregate.** The hourglass aggregate is stated
in full at the pair's opening paper and holds unchanged from this side: fourteen
records, seven per pole, the empty pole uniformly sequence-failing [7, §5; 9]. From
this pole one further reading is owed, the comparative one. The corpus's two S₁
addresses are both empty poles under the associations of record, and their suits'
empty surfaces fail *differently*: the empty heart's five surfaces are relational
failures (estrangement, dissolution, betrayal, ruinous foretelling, unsettled
outlook [9; 6, §5]), while the empty hourglass's seven are sequential failures
(coherence lost, windows closed, purposes blocked, hidden, unknown, the agent
divided [9; 7, §5]). At the surface stratum, the corpus keeps the two collapses
apart exactly as the strings do: what never bonded against what nothing carried.
The shared verdict predicted by the band structure, and the distinct failure modes
predicted by the address strings, are both visible in the public data, which is the
double prediction this address uniquely makes.

**What is gated, stated exactly.** As throughout the sequence: neither hourglass
Progenitor is published at the time of writing (company internal citation by the
author of record, July 2026†); the per-record audit stands as an open request.

**Test verdict at this address.** Coined name unrevised by data: the aggregate
supports, and the comparative prediction of the two false addresses is confirmed at
the surface stratum.

## 6. Cross-thread: evidence for Question 3, not an answer

AH-SUITS-1's Question 3 asks whether hourglass is the volatile pair [2, §4]. Per the
compendium's status line of record, the suit table is "associations, not rulings"
[9]. This paper forwards and complicates without answering.

**Forwarded: the concession repaid.** Question 3 stated the cost of answering yes:
the empty hourglass would share a verdict, not a structure, with the empty heart
[2]. The publications since have converted that cost into content. The gloss showed
the shared name never mentioned the distinction it was accused of erasing; AH-
ABSENCE-1 showed the two addresses are two complete positive facts entailing one
common verdict [3][4]; and §5 above shows the corpus's surfaces honoring the
distinction in practice, relational failure against sequential failure. What
Question 3 conceded as an awkwardness is, on the current record, a successful
prediction: two suits share a verdict band and do not blur, because the verdict was
never where the structure lived. This is evidence *for* the assignment's coherence,
forwarded from the address that paid the concession.

**Complicated.** The pairing remains authored, with σ's alternative standing (§4),
and the 4! freedom untouched [2, Prop. 2]. The comparative evidence of §5 is
surface-stratum only, and the per-record audit that would harden it is gated. The
Question is left where it stands.

## 7. Refutation conditions

Invited explicitly, per the series register. Any of the following breaks a claim of
this paper, at the layer named:

1. **Derivation error (layer 1).** Show any element of §3's dossier misstated. (Each
   element is a published result; a witness here breaks the cited paper first.)
2. **Signature failure (coinage).** Show the stance declaration does no work at this
   address. The T1/T4 witness pair and the migration incident are the standing
   counter-witnesses [5]; a challenger must retire both.
3. **Prose-claim failure (layer 3, corpus-scale).** When nearest-neighbor distances
   are FOL-derived, show the records clustering at 100 are not the records the
   losing-coherence prose predicts, or show the two S₁ clusters failing to separate,
   which would refute §5's comparative claim and reopen the gloss's Question 2
   remainder with it [3][4].
4. **Test failure (per-record, currently gated).** Exhibit a disclosed hourglass
   record whose phase traversal, evaluated under the binding rule [8], contradicts
   the collapse-documentation reading at 100.

Refutations will be published at the address of record, dated and credited,
alongside the claims they broke.

## 8. Discussion: the interlocutors

**The Arousing.** The classical tradition drew this figure, one unbroken line
beneath two broken, and named it Zhen, the Arousing, Thunder: the shock, the
initiating quake, movement that bursts from below. The concordance the archive
keeps records the correspondence [10, archive-marked]. The structural reading and
the tradition's are close at the root: force at the ground line, nothing yet above
it, the initiating burst. The valence seam the sequence has been tracking [7, §8]
shows its most instructive case yet: the tradition reads the shock as *initiating*,
the beginning that precedes structure, where the formal system's verdict documents
collapse, the force that structure never came to carry. Both readings agree the
address is all beginning and no continuation; they disagree on whether that is a
dawn or a scattering. The archive side is invited to weigh this address alongside
the empty-pole cases already flagged: here the disagreement is not about yielding
read as capacity but about *force* read as promise, which suggests the seam may
track the direction of time (what the figure is about to become) against the
direction of verdict (what the figure holds now), a formulation the tradition's
divinatory practice, which read figures as moving, is better placed to develop
than this series is.

**What is not claimed.** No claim that the suit assignment is derived: Question 3
remains AH-SUITS-1's, open (§6). No claim that any trope id is renamed, revised,
or reflagged (§4). No claim that the comparative separation of §5 is more than
surface-stratum evidence, pending the gated audit. And no claim of novelty in the
instruments: everything used is inherited exactly as cited [1][3][4][5].

## 9. Author's Position

Held, not argued here. The position (belief register, first person, per
AH-DERIVABILITY-1 §6) is published as this paper's companion document on the
archive side (AH-PROG-T4-1-H, historicalpresent.com/shared), the arrangement
assumed from the precedent of the series' published companions, awaiting per-paper
confirmation by the author of record. **Archive-only**: never citable by live
systems. The derivation dossier (§3), the signed coinage (§4), the test verdict
