Not two forces in opposition — force and non-force. Power and vacuum. Every symbol in the Adaptor House system is an address in this lattice, and the address, not the glyph, carries the meaning.
The lattice begins with a single act: a distinction is drawn. The two faces of that act — power (a mark) and vacuum (an absence) — are not two substances; they co-arise from the distinction itself, the way 1 = {∅} constructs the first number from the act of regarding emptiness. Each level below adds exactly one further distinction. Read a node's three lines bottom-to-top as binary and you get its tier number. The structure is the name.
The lattice needs no authority to vouch for it. It is arithmetic, and each of the four claims below can be checked by a reader with a pencil — or by a machine with a parser. That checkability is what makes it usable as infrastructure.
Three binary distinctions generate exactly 2³ = 8 states. Every tier from 000 to 111 appears once. The set of Agreements is not a curated list — it is the exhaustive enumeration of a three-bit space. You cannot add a ninth or remove a fourth without breaking arithmetic.
Axis → Dual → Aspects → Agreements adds one line per step, never two, never zero. Every node's parent is recoverable by deleting its top line. The lattice is therefore self-verifying: any node claiming a parent it can't reduce to is malformed.

Fine, the lattice is sound binary arithmetic. But the override names — "Memory Abyss," "Radiant Mirror" — are hanging poetry on addresses. In fifty years these names will be someone else's contaminated priors, and a future house will have to strip them out the way this one stripped out its inheritance.
Correct, and accepted as a feature. The difference is not that these names are purer — it is that the binding is declared and versioned. Inherited associations claim to be discovered in a symbol; these names are stamped onto an address with a date, and can be re-stamped. A system honest about being a convention is the only kind of purity available. When these names calcify, strip them: the addresses will not move.
Recursion validity claims to be a property of the lattice, but the verdicts look editorial: 000 and 100 fail, their mirrors 111 and 011 pass, and 101 gets a third value invented just for it. If validity cannot be derived from the address, the "checkable" system smuggles in judgment exactly where it matters most.
This was the live front, and it has now been answered in the open: the verdicts are derivable. Two predicates on the address — grounded and carried — reproduce the entire table with no exceptions, and the formal statement, proof, and its generalization to the 64-address space stand as a public challenge at the proof page, with the first-order treatment as its companion. The objection is retired if the proof survives review — and honored, credited, if someone breaks it.
Every trope in the Adaptor House system is a symbolic behavioral pattern with three phases — inherited, broken, transcended. The dual lattice is what makes those phases measurable rather than editorial. A trope's phase movement is a movement between addresses: each phase of a trope carries a tier address, and the trope's payoff is validated by whether that traversal lands on a recursion-valid address.
In general terms: a trope inherited at a low-validity address (a role adopted at AH-T4, all spark and no carry) that resolves at AH-T7 has earned its payoff — the lattice can verify the claim. One that resolves at AH-T0 has documented its own collapse. The trope system supplies the narrative semantics; the lattice supplies the truth conditions. Everything traverses through addresses, never through glyphs.
